We live in two parallel universes now – the physical
and the digital. Let’s stitch them back together by
creating thoughtful experiences that connect us to
our neighbourhoods and to each other.

Research

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Waterloo. My research focusses on Locative Media in civic spaces and the narratives of cultural memory.

Storytelling

I am an award winning documentary filmmaker specializing in difficult social and cultural topics. My last film “The Pretendians” (co-writer, field director, editor) won “Best Social/Political Documentary” at the 2023 Canadian Screen Awards.

Teaching

For nine years I have been an Instructor in the Global Business and Digital Arts program at the University of Waterloo’s Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business.
